I would rather be in the woods... my dog would rather be in the pool. My wife thinks we are both nuts.

    Yea that would be good.

Depending on the head count bulk stuff like gumbo and chili would be good.

Can we throw some chopped up hot dogs in that gumbo?

Hmm that sounds good. But I thought Gumbo had chicken and sausage in it....okra, onion-celery-peppers (trinity), and served over rice?
If you want to make that, I'm OK with it.

Yes there is vegetables in Gumbo, i was just stating the main ingredients... We can buy the Zatarains and add chicken and Sauage.. Or can make from scratch. They have a roux mix called Savoie's that is Cajun... Either way. I have had the Zatarain's and its really good, just would suggest making extra rice..

Charles may have a problem with the rice, if he is still doing the low/no carb thing. I guess if the rice is done in a different pot it would be OK? You would have to check with him on that......
I just try to stay below 50grams/day so I'm good with that. Basically one serving per day of carby foods like bread or rice or potato ect. (I don't count beer/booze/wine since I don't drink often).
