Just for the record...

I have been planning since the inception of this event to leave sometime Saturday because of Sunday morning commitments. Personally, I wish I could be there the entire time. Nothing like thunderstorms, floods and 40 degree temperature swings to make for a memorable weekend.

I'm considering making a good rich venison stew, but wondering what else other folks are making in case I oughta make some kind of a dessert instead. Pineapple upside down cake, brownies, etc.

I haven't decided what food to bring along yet. I'm making a trip to the store this afternoon to figure that out.

Brrr on Saturday night, for sure. It'll be the lowest temps I've taken my DIY down quilt down to since I made it. It's supposed to be ~20F rating, so we'll see.
