It's a great spot in the winter time, one of our faves. Originally we were going to go by ourselves to test/tune some new gear, but since the place we're going to is such a nice hang spot we figured we'd post it on the forums

Yea, it's a good spot and winter keeps the snakes, bears, people and bugs away. Hope some people can make it.

If I get my thread injector back soon (2+weeks already in the shop for repair, should be any day now) and learn to use it enough to make my quilts I'd definitely be interested in going. All my fabric and 7.5CS are sitting waiting patiently, my winter12 tarp kit aswell..

A majority of the NJ hammock hangers on this forum are from the south, so its no big deal. Also it's quite a trip for some. We posted this on the meetup group we're a part of, and it looks like there may be a few joining us on the trip. This was a last minute kind of thing we were going to do, but decided to make it public. We recently acquired some new gear that needs to be put through testing

We have 3 other people showing up from the meetup group. We'll be hitting the trail from the parking lot on Friday around 3pm. The meetup guys are meeting up at the parking lot on Saturday morning at 9am if you wanna hike in with them

That sounds like my best option. I'm still a bit concerned about the temp Saturdat night. Going to be mad cold beyond my quilts temp rating. I'm thinking or ideas to boost my temp
