Are there any OutdoorInk fabrics that are suitable for a tarp?

I think this has been asked and answered. "Due to the printing the material has to be unfinished". But after I assume you could diy a finish that will repel water.

I wondered the same thing but was patiently waiting on the guys to let us know.
I would definitely buy some for a kilt, if it came in a tarp worthy material!

I've done a DIY dip on small samples (a DE Stuff sack kit, actually) worked great... so far. I haven't really been able to test the longevity of the DIY coating. The pieces are kicking around in my gear box just waiting for me to decide what to make with them.
No damage to the printing.. I wouldn't have expected there to be. With the printing method we use, the dye is bonded to the fabric, not layed on top like a screen print.
Like Justin said, the sublimation print process is a molecular level bond to the yarn, not a topical coating like screen print. Basically what this means is that any damage to the print would have to also damage the fabric itself.
I don't think you will find any issue with doing a DIY silicone dip.
So m confused... I've seen other posts where folks are making tarps using the "OutdoorInk" fabrics. Are they going to be available directly from RSBTR? Or do folks need to plan on dipping the fabric themselves?
