This is the part of the Birgitta Trail, which is around 55 km (34.2ml) long. I have walk 1/3 of it

Great report! I actually mentioned hiking in Finland to my girlfriend earlier today, as Denmark doesn't get so much deep cold and snow.

Actually we would have done so if there had been just two of us.
Would have been rude to leave one hanging outside alone.

Great pics and report! I will have to get one of those neck knives to try out. I have a couple of the Mora companion knives and you can't beat them for several times the price.
