    Hah! Nice! I like the idea of having some blaze orange to make a show if I need to attract attention in an emergency.

    I did the same with the channels, both on the ends and the side. Sewed up channels like you said, pinned them inside, and off I went. Worked like a champ. The head a foot channels I used ripstop as well, as I predicted (correctly) that they would draw up a lot nicer than grosgrain.

    The black outer is also calendered with the smooth side turned in for wind protection.

    My thoughts exactly about the blaze orange. I do wish I went with calendared for the outside though. But still happy with results. And yes the channels at the head and foot do work well.
