That topper you give us seems to be thick and large. I sometimes make a pad in my hommock too, espacially when it is cold. I bought my mattress topper at crazysales, which is thinner and soft.

My wife and I are full time hangers. For indoors, open cell foam is better than closed cell, especially if you sleep hot. Get a double layer hammock if you're going to insist on using a pad of any sort.

I keep my house at 60* or less. With even the slightest draft (say, from somebody walking past) you can easily feel the heat being sucked right out from underneath. I sleep hot and use a CDT UQ. I drown with a pad or any sort of vapor barrier. My wife sleeps cold and uses her LLG 20* Habanero.
