Ecellent news. I will most likely ski in. I don't like pulling sleds so I'll pack as light as i can

JoshuaTrees and I have a 2 bedroom suite booked for Thursday night in North Conway. We would like to get an early start on Friday. I'm sure there is a couch or get a rollaway bed if someone wants to do the same.
PM me for hotel info if interested.
What is the trail map for this trip and where is the best place to get it.

I'll prob be good till around 0, seemed to be pretty warm down to 4 last month.
I just used caltopo.com and searched for Sawyer pond. The trail is sawyer pond trail and I think the trail section is from Livermore road east. Road section is from Crawford notch road down sawyer river road, which turns into Livermore road. From what I gathered the parking lot is on Crawford notch road right next to sawyer river road.

Hey Nighthauk,
I use my White Mountains Trail Map waterproof version by Map Adventures. You can get it from the AMC online or www.mapadventures.com It has the trail distance right on the map. I also use the AMC White Mountain guide which has it's own maps that come with it and descriptions of the trail and access/parking etc. (you can copy the pages and bring with you if you want). Still debating whether I want to or can go on this trip. Not sure I can get Friday off work. Also my pulk is super old and needs work. I could ski in with a pack though. It has been done before. If you need to borrow anything you are welcome to do so.
Thanks Stacy, though I am well equipped for the trip. Just deciding whether I actually want to try a gamble on my first x-country skiing or just snow shoe in.
Thanks to tollermama I found out I have the map. No repurchase. Whooo hoooo.
