    Sawyer Pond NH Feb 24-26

Anyone interested in a trip to Sawyer Pond outside of Bartlett, NH? It's a 3-4 miles on closed for winter road to the trail head and about 2 miles of trails. It's a great spot. The shelter overlooks the pond makes for a great spot to cook and gather. Atrane21 (Alex) put this together a couple of years ago and it was a great time.

I'll post a few pics and more info if there is any interest.

Definitely interested. Was just thinking about putting something up about this trip soon. Real good time last time, lets hope for another snow pack like that!

possibly, I will see how the Noreasta' winter hang in Jan goes and if I am toasty toasty will consider this. Haven't winter camped in 32 years...would be nice. Looks like you might be able to ski in? I do have snowshoes though.

Definitely skiable. I snowshoed in pulling a sled. Looking back it will be exactly 2 years ago we were there. I just hope it's not in the negative double digits again.

I stand corrected Joshua Tree actually set up the trip two years ago. I was checking the old posts. Some pics there as well

This sounds like a great time. What's the mileage hiking in?

About 4 miles by closed road used by snowmobiles to trailhead 2 miles on trail. Rolling terrain nothing steep.
