That's actually an hour closer so interested if there is room for one more. I'll ping you after next weekend.

Work has me going to Texas in early April. Last weekend of every month is booked for training this year but anything in between and I'm game This doesn't feel like a good year for making any group trips..

Don't listen to the fake news. The weather will be fine. Since when do real outdoors people listen to the weather reporters? If I listened to them I'd never get outside. Joshua Trees and I will be there early, so those coming late just look for the bonfire I'm sure we'll have blazing. Out of curiosity what is the head count just days before?

I will be there. I am planning to get to the trailhead for around 10am. After that may take my time hiking it. So maybe around 1 or so.

I'll be there as well. Planning on getting to the trail head around 11-12 on Friday. Didn't get around to building a pulk, but luckily it looks like I won't need to bring as much stuff.

Sadly after starting to pack Nathan can't get it off. We won't be able to make it.

the only pulk i use is a snowsled with rope around my waist. question: as far as the itinerary, are there any hikes/ski plans for saturday? i assume people are going out friday and coming back sunday. i didnt know if people wanted to climb carrigain or hike or ski the trails around the area on saturday

I'm sure we are up for anything. I was thinking of bush whacking to owls head/top. I'm set to explore w skis, snowshoes or sandals.

I was hoping to ski out on the pond Saturday, not sure if I trust it now. Definitely not hiking Carrigan, and not sure if bushwhacking to owls head from there is even realistic or possible? But I'm up for some skiing or hiking on the trails around camp.

Hiking Owls Head from Sawyer is definitely not realistic.

    Sawyer Pond NH Feb 24-26

So its sounding more and more like going to bed early, staying in bed late, eating, and depending on the rain sitting around the campfire. Oh darn.
