I'm not sure. I haven't tried my Wookie on hammocks other than the BBXLC yet. The thread in the above link doesn't answer your question either. If I get a chance today I'll try attaching it to one of my non-Warbonnet gathered end hammocks.
As I said in the other thread, use a prussik loop (as a whipping) on each end, just like the whipping on your hammock ends. On shorter hammocks, move the prussik to shorten the Wookie. On longer hammocks, add some shockcord to the prussik (or Wookie ends).
It ain't rocket surgery.
Just make sure to try and re-create the amount of tension/force you get from about 2" of stretch to the stock band...it's quite a bit of force, probably 15-20 lbs. If you mod it with shockcord and there's less force when loaded it might not fit as tight to the bottom of the hammock and that may effect the warmth you get out of it.
Yes...this is all quite a bit easier with help of a friend.
Prussik loop (or whatever)....then slowly cinch up to proper tension as WBguy points out...
If you dot not have a friend...just start by pushing down with hand while checking back, when getting close, sit, and start shortening just a tad at a time till you reach the mark.
