    Jack's R Better info.

Got a High Sierra Sniveller and what is the caribeaner used for and the loops.Surely to secure the pad, but I was wondering, can you place a tapered pad inside the foot box or just lay on top. I tried inside but there is not much room in a sewn foot box for your feet..I could call them but just thought about it now.. Thanks for the insight.

Are you using it in a hammock?
If not.....I would just lay on the pad personally.
Not sure but the biner may just be a swag gift.

The biner is probably swag as Shug said. The loops are so you can run some cordage through them and around a pad to keep it in place I do believe. I have the HS Sniveler and love it. Good stuff!!

The carabiner is to secure the quilt when you are using it in serrape ( I know it's spelled wrong but hey I'm a hillbilly) mode. Somewhere I saw a video of one of the Jack's demonstrating how to wrap the quilt and then use the carabiner to secure it together while you are wearing it.

I'm using it on the ground..I think the biner is used if you wear the quilt.but If you just lay on the pad your fine but I always thought you would stick the pad into the foot box but here I go thinking again..

I got one this fall and the biner is when you wear it as a serape or ponco. I used a bit of shock cord with the biner. It saved me from packing a heavy fleece jacket and gave my son a good chuckle when I wore it!
