I was hoping for colder nights with clear skies. I've been in the snow before but haven't had to deal with snow collecting on the tarp. But hey new adventure. I can plan to bring something for the potluck store bought. I just don't know what to bring I'm kind of dense that way. what are others bringing I wonder.

Just remember that snow is like rain when it comes to getting gear wet....so bring a shell to keep your down jacket dry....
as for snow collecting on the tarp....we won't get enough to be a problem....
I will bring a poly tarp that we can rig up for the communal fire area...

I've had the same issue Benson. It's difficult to potluck without an idea of what everyone is bringing. I am planning on just bringing some extra food but wouldn't classify it as potluck

If people could post what they are planning on bringing I might be able to put something together.

Best bet bring something for the potluck that you wont mind getting wasted or completely consumed in some way. Beat bet warm food.
