Dukie and I won't get there till noon at best. We will only be there for one night and I'm not sure if I'll have my down sleeping bag yet.

Been looking over the spreadsheet and there looks like there's gonna be a lot of good food! I added a couple more things. I thought about Hot Cider too if anyone wants to bring a couple gallon jugs I can bring some too and a pot & ladle.

The hike is ~3.5-4 miles, can be rocky in some parts - basically it's this hike. I think we could probably leave around 1 or 1:30p on Thursday and still be fine with daylight, weather dependent of course. I have an extra ~25-30F degree down top quilt I can loan to you guys if you need one, along with the 15-20F down underquilt. And if you guys are taking off Friday evening, the set might be available for someone else to use Fri & Sat evening if someone wants to claim them.

We'll probably be leaving around 12:30p on Thursday, then hiking back to GHSP on Friday morning.

    A note of caution...
Particularly for those hiking up the mountain for an overnighther, keep a check on weather conditions as you get closer & be realistic about your gear.
If there is snow on the ground, those trails can be a challenge to follow, even in the day time.

I don't know your experience or your gear but once you are up there for the night, there will be no easy bailing.
It would be extremely dangerous to try & hike out at night.
Firewood is hard to find there.

The weather conditions up there can be serious. Some of our group had a rough (and dangerous) situation a few years back while doing the Thomas Knob hike.
I too will something make and joy in it's making

Thanks for the good words of caution slowhike. A very good reminder! We'll keep an eye on the forecast and make a group decision.
