Hate I could not make it. I really wanted to wake up with snow on my tarp. But if Mama ain't happy no one is happy. She appreciated me being home with her this weekend.

Chigger and 4Hats made it safely to Garner. We will keep our friends a couple of days for some rest up before they head to Ga. Way too many people to thank for so many things to name people except for David (Phantom Grappler). He made it happen. I also have to give out much gratitude to my friend Charles (Old4Hats) for all his help. I injured myself Tuesday night and just got more unable to lift, pull, or much else. I was also not as social as I would like to have been. But A GREAT TIME was had by the old folks. Again A GREAT BIG THANK YOU to everyone, and I sincerely mean everyone that was there.

It was great to get out into piney woods--and see friends both old and new. Thank you for great memories. Let's not forget Slugger and his smoking grill with all the delicious hamburgers. And PappyAmos bratwursts that are out of this world-best bratwursts I've ever had. And Sandman starting fire two mornings in a row! And Shortbus who cooked not one but Two meals and the Mountain man breakfast was good as well as some beef stew that really hit the spot. And peeeeetey and Debra made some killer peppers and onions-perfectly carmalized without burning. Joe Housand and William did a bang up job on steaks. Oldffourhats won most blinged rig--followed closely by Bobo1234. How come PappyAmos coffee ☕️ is always better than mine?
Thank you Jim aka Shooter for cheering us all up around campfire and in interesting exchange of ideas. And there is just great fun listening to stories from y'all and Oldffourhats and PappyAmos. Bobo1234, Logan and Starfish Comet helped clean up camp. Thanks I was running out of gas.
And if I did not mention your name it does not mean I've forgotten you. Special thanks to all the Moms and mostly Dads who camped the hard way--with kids! I always like to see kids having a good time. There are two forms of travel-first class and--
With kids. But they are our future and our best memories are of when they were growing up. Thank you for great memories!

Chigger I hope you get feeling better. It's great to have a good friend.
Silverpalm2x two trees are always reserved for you and TallPaul and Hotlips&Kingsford--sometimes you can't be there--and your judgement is the one that counts.

I just want everyone to know how much I enjoyed meeting you all. I am looking forward to the Fall. Phantom you are a excellent host and I plan on taking more time next time to participate in the shooting.

I did mean to express my thanks to David for organizing everything this time, and for his generosity with the firewood and excellent dinner Saturday night. Your heart is as big as the outdoors we all enjoy!
