Informal Hang at Berryman?

If I get my TQ finished this weekend, and if the weather forecast for the 20th - 22nd holds, and if my wife lets me out of the house, I'm thinking of heading down to Berryman to test out my new gear. My plan is to camp in the campground so I have access to spare equipment in case of problems, and do a little hiking on the trails. I was thinking of taking Friday, or ate least Friday afternoon off, and camping that night, but would consider Sat. night as an addition or an alternative. Campground is free, and it's easy to find plenty of firewood. I thought I'd post here in case anyone is interested. Let me know.

Okay, I'll pare it down a bit. If my wife lets me out of the house and the weather doesn't suck too much I'll probably be there! That's down to one if from three. Or kinda sorta 1.5 ifs. Biggest wife issue is Thursday is her birthday, so it depends on what she wants to do for that. I don't have to finish my TQ to go. I've got the UQ done already.

If next weekend doesn't work out, I'm planning on the next available weekend where TWDSTM (the weather doesn't suck too much).

Well, I've got a kitchen pass from my wife, and I finished the top quilt and asym tarp, so the only if left is the weather. I'm planning to take at least 1/2 day vacation on Friday, drive to Berryman, set up camp, collect an excessive overabundance of firewood, set up my new gear, and just generally chill. An ultrarunner friend of mine may join me. Hope some of you can make it. Let me know, and I'll bring some extra homebrew.

You guys just planning a single overnight? I'd be interested but couldn't come down until Saturday morning and stay the night.

Edit to add: actually I may be able to do Friday - Saturday. Won't know until Wednesday though.

For me it'll just be Friday night as I need to be home on Sat. afternoon.

I hope to get out more in the coming weeks though.

I'm watching the weather. Wed will probably be the decision day for me too. Weather like last weekend, and I'll postpone.
