Can I use RSS syndication to keep up with new posts?

I know how to subscribe to Topics but haven't seen how to subscribe to individual Threads inside a Topic. Is that also possible?

There is a new post button at the top of the page that gives all the new posts since you last vistited. I really like it because it only shows each thread once.
