    Sweet Ride

    Hey all!

Not new to hangin, just to the forum. I got my first hammock back in 2009 when I rode my motorcycle from USA/Canada border to the north shore of Alaska and back. A total of more than 14,000 kms return in 19 days of travel.

I started with a Mosquito brand Jungle Hammock and still have it. It has served me well and hope to have it a long time yet. But I recently upgraded to a Hennessy Hammocks brand Safari Deluxe Asym. I'm not a hiker so the extra weight of a BIG hammock did not scare me away. As the bike will carry it I opted to take the advise of fellow hangers that I've met and they said that if I did not mind the extra weight that the larger hammocks pretty much always provide more comfort. This is certainly true with regard to the Safari Deluxe.

Nice to find the forum and I'm looking forward to learning more and even maybe offer up a tidbit of knowledge of my own if the situation warrants it.

    Salud Todos

Welcome from far West Texas, glad you could join us. Your trip sounds like an "excellent adventure". Any pictures you could share?

Lots of great information on the forums and friendly folks that share their knowledge. Ask questions and attend a group hang if you can.

Welcome to the forums to share and learn. Good knowledgeable and helpful folks here. Look up the southeast section if you ride east anytime to take in a hang or 2. Greetings again, from North Carolina.

I'm late to the party, but welcome from Salt Lake City, Utah! That motorcycle trip sounds like an absolute blast! That's my dream trip; from border to border.

If you are able and willing to post any pics from your trip, that would be very cool.
