I've never used the pull outs before this hammock. I took them off the Half-wit immediately. Didn't see a need. I am using them on the Chameleon, and I think I like them. They really do help to keep the shape and even when you're not laying in it perfect, it keeps the top cover or bug net off you. I am going to play around with it some more, experiment a little while down at HangCon with different under quilts, but I thin I like the tie outs on this one.

I have pull outs on my WB XLC, but have come to the conclusion that in most cases I am far too lazy to put down more stakes and lines.

I think in summer I am a bit more likely to stake them out though if I am worried about face touching the net and mosquitos biting through.

I really like this product. Love the fact that you can have a pretty simple integrated net that is reversible making the user able to change the lay orientation.

The top cover is unique and seems to be well made!

There are so few manufacturers of integrated net hammocks and this is no doubt a welcome addition to the market!

And as a final random thought:

It seems interesting to me for some reason, that one can create a sort of "foot box" by using a knotty mod, or pull out(s). It is like a paradox almost?

Also just got my Beetle Bug suspension so it is not in the video. The Beetle Bug is awesome. Yes, I typed Awesome.
The pack hooks along the side to hook in your UQ suspension are quickly becoming my favorite feature. Even if you don't use the shock cord pullouts...the UQ suspension comes up over the end of your TQ and mades a footbox. Love that.

So you do not need your secondary suspension on your UQ? i.e. no prusiks
