New winter Dream 12' maiden voyage

Mullica River Pine Barrens, NJ during a snow storm a couple weeks ago. Lots of snow, minimal wind (just a few random gusts) and very cold! Low was 8*. Dutch CRL, Tarp fleaz on shock cord to the tie outs and ground hog stakes with zing-it.
This thing really buttons down nicely. The snaps on the doors are awesome and they certainly keep the elements out. I was used to an 11' 4 season from another maker, so I had to tinker a bit with this new Winter Dream to get the height and distance between trees just right. Dutch's CRL made that nice and easy though. The build of this tarp is exceptional. The tie outs and ridge line reinforcements seem nearly bomb proof. Those snaps on the doors are priceless. Such a great addition to ensure a good closure to the doors. I'm really impressed with the quality of the build on this thing. Definitely my go to 4 season now.

Congrats on the new tarp. I find I use my winter tarp all the time now as I like the coverage.

I assume you did not go with the internal pole mod add on? If not, do you wish you had?

I have the single center pole mod. I took the pole but elected not to set it up. I was cold. lol wanted to get it up and go sit by the fire. I'll have the pole mod in it at the winter hang this weekend though.

I love my winter dream 13 ft. With a pole mod I feel like I am under a yurt

I rigged out my new silpoly 12' WD in the yard yesterday. I got the dual pole mod. Weight without poles is just 2 ounces more than my10x10 catenary cut rectangular tarp, but with poles installed the interior of the WD is massive!
