I brought my heater in the hammock

    Cute dog alert!

Stuart isn't phased by the hammock one bit. And some critters are having an argument in the woods, yet he sleeps.

    This is a perfect night.

So it's an organic hammock heater?

Very effective insulation strategery. Will not cool off like a handwarmer or hot water bottle, but will stay warm and keep you warm for as long as needed.

Nice one mate, there's nothing like it is there. Mine aren't quite so relaxed tho.

I must be the only one that wouldn't want my dog and it's associated aroma in my down quilts at all. I'll use some other heater and let the dog and it's aroma stay outside

I don't really have an issue with dog smell, mostly because on the trail we all can get a bit ripe... but my pup doesn't know how to snuggle. And he detests me cutting his nails. Not sure if the groomer gives him ketamine or what. So occasionally longer talons on a thrashing 50 lb dog horrify me for all my delicate outdoor fabrics. I made him a sleeping bag. He seems pretty content on the ground. If only he would crawl *inside* the dadgum thing...

Stuart's breed is Jindo, and he is just over 50 pounds. My hammock is 11'.

Jindo is a Korean breed. His rescue where I adopted him from has some info, if you are curious.

Stuart is my 3rd Jindo that I've had over the years. I love these dogs.
