Superior Hiking Trail

Open invite for anyone who's thinking about the Superior Hiking Trail in the next few weeks.

My brother and I are heading up to the SHT Friday night, April 30th - May 4th. This will be his first time hanging and only second time carrying a pack. So we're not going to do a lot of miles.

We'll hit the Silver Creek site for Friday night and then drive up to Gooseberry Falls SP Saturday morning. Over the rest of the weekend we plan on doing the section from Gooseberry to and around the Split Rock loop and back.

The other sections we were looking at were the Hwy 1 to Finland Rec, if someone else comes up and we could do some car shuttling.

C'mon up! If you come, we could do the Hwy 1 to Finland Rec with car shuttles. This is one of the few sections of trail I haven't done yet.

We would probably still do Silver Creek Friday night. We probably won't get up there until 11pm or so, unless I can get out of work a little earlier.
