Thanks to Hotlips, Kingsford and all the others who cooked and smoked and helped make this a great hang. I had a great time lollygagging and talking with folks and watching sncamper demonstrate his stoves. A big sorry to the fellow who I helped to set himself on fire.

Hey...it was good talking gear stuff at the hang today. I have a few things I was going to send you, but it appears your HF inbox is full. Do you want to send me a PM with your email address?

    Thanks,
    Amanda/MtnGoat

    Missing gear

I missed picking up my mosquito lantern. Did anyone happen to pick it up? It would have been in the nest of chairs under the kitchen tarps the last night.

Sorry haven't seen it. I still have a grey water bottle that was left at the spring Yates hang that ended up not belonging to Pappy Amos after all. Forgot to get it out at Smoked Butt.

As a reminder, if you care, a list of the (mostly) vintage stoves I brought to show.

1st version Sievert Svea 123. (1954-1958?) (Swedish, white gas)
Borde (Sometimes referred to as the Borde Bomb). (Swiss, white gas)
    Radius 46. (Swedish, white gas)
Trangia 25. Older version. (Swedish, alcohol)
    Heinze-Geniol Dieselkocher. (German NATO, kerosene)
MSR Reactor 1.7 litre. (USA, canister 'butane/propane' mix)

The box I opened while there was a vintage Enders cook kit.

Take care of it. I'd hate for you to have a smoked butt scar.

We had a great time there as well. Loved talking shop, whether it be knots, hammocks, or smoking (meat). Excellent BBQ all around.

For those of you interested the folding charcoal chimney is made by campmaid: https://campmaid.com/products/charco...-early-preview I have a referral link that will save you 5% and I think get me some sort of reward (full disclosure). If you're interested (PM me).

For the sous vide butt, I pretty much followed the directions here (http://www.seriouseats.com/recipes/2...er-recipe.html), with my own rub, for the pullable pork.

Thanks to Hotlips, PhantomGrappller, and RBTR for the goodies!
