Kiln dried hardwood lumber scrap, so legal to transport across state lines as opposed to regular firewood which is NOT legal to transport!
===> Thanks, but this is a privately owned Campground, and the Owner has always given our group a good break on site AND wood costs (we want him to make money! And he delivers the barrels of wood to our sites.)

Besides, if you brought that kiln-dried wood, a bunch of us would scoop it to carve wooden spoons and make other campy items, like cool toggles for a Marlin Spike Hitch if using Whoopie Slings to hang the hammock! LOL!

Oh ok, I won't bring any for fires then, or maybe just a little for kindling. Good idea on the toggles though!!! I'll bring some dowel stock from different woods and people can drill them and splice zingit to them!! Maybe bring some finish too or something. I'm on it!! Craft time with Curlymaple42!! Lol!!

I'm not great at making spoons really. Spatulas I can make but I do those on machinery. I'll bring some other scrap but I think I'll bring dowel stock cut to length, sand paper, drill and bits, maybe some zingit, finish.

There will be people there who can carve spoons. Myself and especially Nighthauk for example. There are many members who know how to make great camp items.

I will be bringing all my carving knives and some greenwood for carving. MUCH easier to carve then dried kiln wood. I also plan on having some carvings for the raffle.

Oh cool!!! I'm milling up dowel stock right now for toggles. Cherry, mahogany, maple, and walnut.

I'll bring my carving knives too although I don't have much.
