    Went all In

After long grueling months of research and seeing how much fantastic hammock companies are out there, I went all in with WL. Lite owl, Big Daddy and SSUQ. I added an extra oz to the stuffing. Excited to give it a try when it gets here. Will keep you posted.

    Sounds fun, Squatchin.
I admire some of their products. Good luck with that setup.

So many fantastic vendors the hardest part can be deciding which to try. Keep us posted, take pics, and don't forget a good report!

It came in Saturday and the stitching and work looks fantastic. Unfortunately, I have been bed ridden do to a nasty virus going around. Today is my first day feeling better and of course its back to work. I will be putting the set up together tonight and checking back in with yall.

I finally had the chance to set it up. It took me a bit to learn the whoopie sling, but once I figured it out it became second nature. The Lite owl feels fantastic against the skin. From the eno DN I had, it feels like I went from sleeping on a military cot to a king size leesa mattress with a high Egyptian cotton thread count. The adjustments at the head and feet make this hammock for me. Being able to tighten the hammock edges and creating that personalized head or foot space. ITs fantastic. The SSUQ is equally amazing with beautiful craftsmanship. THE SSUQ is very easy to use, just clipping onto the ends of the hammock and keeping the quilt right up against your butt.
I tested it out in my backyard, where it was high 50's and a slight breeze. This SSUQ blocked the wind and kept me nice and warm, to the point were I passed out and took a nap.
I hung my my Big Daddy tarp with the 2 carbiner continuous ridge-line. It stayed nice and taut, covering everything it promised it would.

Those of you with a wilderness logic hammock, what do you do for a drip line?

I have a Night Owl and when I used the stock straps and whoopies I'd just tie a spare piece of paracord onto the whoopie. I have since changed over to continuous loops on the hammock and 12' Dutch tree straps with sewn in Dutch clips on the tree end with B.I.A.S. Strap anchors on the hammock/continuous loop end which eliminated my need for a drip line. Good Luck!
