    Leaf hammock

I've always been a sucker for a Hennessy Hammock and when I saw the Leaf I knew I had to have it even though I'm 5" over the max height for it. I worked out a deal with Hennessy and got one

They also sent me snakeskins and water collectors along with the hammock, super stoked

Of course I immediately strung it up to check it out

Well I just barely fit in it so I knew I needed a test drive, so I grabbed my greylock 3 and wrapped my down jacket around foot end and was quite warm and comfortable

Very happy with the setup I needed an overnight to confirm this little guy could work for me

It's been so long since I tied the HH knot I was surprised I remembered it and how easily it untied after tension was on it, this is after I was laying in the hammock for an hour

The snakeskins are a little big for it but they do the trick

    The first official hang

Well after the overnighter it is too small for me but as long as I was mindful on how I moved it worked and I know I'll be using it again, its going to make a great hammock for day hikes or one to keep in the truck. I still managed a fairly flat lay but I take up the whole hammock and occasionally the hammock starts to slip under my head to my shoulder and my head ends up on the quilt.

All in all very comfy and a nice addition to my collection and if you're under 6' it would be a great hammock

Nice! IMO, I'd prefer my snake skins to be a little larger. I find that I'd rather my gear be a little more "squishy" for packing. It may not look as small as when its in the small snakeskin or stuff sack, but it is when its packed down with everything else, and being squishy means it forms in and around what I need it to.

    How wide is the Leaf?

Pictures look great and the hammock looks great as well. How was the sleep/lay? I have always been a fan for Hennessy as when people ask me how do you get into hammock camping it is a great complete system to buy and not try to figure which components to have to buy.

for being too big for it the lay was still nice and I slept 7 hours straight so that works for me
