After purchasing Kelty Noah - after 6 months I resold it... it is too big for any trail. 8x10 or a little less is fine. just IMO/.

Mountain Goat. Made with mesh, which works really well. Plus, you can get them with a pocket on each end for storing your cordage. Really sweet.

I found that the Noah 12 makes a pretty decent winter shelter with doors, despite its bulk and weight. I do a fair amount of ground dwelling, but am looking for a tarp that can do both. What's the new superfly all about...seems to be popular...
