    WI> High Cliff Spring Green Hang, March 23 thru the 26

    Please sign up on the Google sheet here:
    https://docs.google.com/spreadsheets...it?usp=sharing

    Spring Green Hang: Host for the weekend: The Birthday Girl, KattDogg !!!

    Why Spring Green? Because it is the first weekend of Spring, everything is starting to turn green, and everyone needs to invite “green” (aka newbies) to this hang!

    Date: Thursday, March 23 noonish until Sunday, March 26 @ noonish, welcome anytime in between there, I should be there around noonish of Thursday

    High Cliff State Park Address: High Cliff State Park N7630 State Park Rd Sherwood WI 54169

    State park sticker or daily pass required. (More info on sticker: http://dnr.wi.gov/topic/parks/admission.html?prompt=0)

    Group Site details:
    * During the winter season, all group sites are walk-up only (not able to reserve). So, KattDogg will be paying for the site on Thursday (day before the hang) and then post which site she got
    * Max Num of People: 20 per site, if there are over 20 people who confirm yes I will hopefully get a second site next to each other
    * Pets Allowed: Yes, Domestic on leash
    * Max Num of Vehicles: 5 (please carpool) - Overflow parking is allowed along the campground road adjacent to sites, and parking lot 100 yards away ish.
    * Fire Pit: Y
    * Picnic Table: Y
    * Pit toilets available, would recomend bringing you own wet wipes and toilet paper just incase.
    * Water available at the main office, office closes at 4pm, I live about 10 min away incase we need extra water
    * We'll be able to gather dead wood, but everyone should purchase a bundle or two of wood within the area, I will try to bring some extra wood

    Cost: will be determined by how many people attend. Please bring cash to pay. (Predicted cost to be between $15-20) Please purchase 1-2 bundles of wood & bring it to the site with you.

    Please feel free to bring something to pass, snacks are great but main courses are better, I don't think there is a grate, but there are grills in the picnic area.

    If the weather warms up again for this hang I may move it so that we are not in mudd the entire time. Since it is a very popular park the vegatation on the sites are very minimal

    High Cliff is a nice State park that I have been to dozens of times. Really nice walking trails, many with historical significance. Mix of mature hardwoods and prairie, cool breeze off Lake Winnebago, etc. Also a plethora of public lands around there for the adventuresome looking for more locations to hike and explore.

    This hang is definitely on my calendar!!
