What temperature will this get down too?
I have one other question about this is there a way to seal off stitch holes so some warm air is not escaping?
Toss blanket in dryer with tennis balls and damp towel. Otherwise it isn't worth worrying about. The fabric itself is going to breathe some.
Because I'm going to use this with a 9' hammock, should I make the clews shorter?
Also, why are their 11 sockets on each end of the Castor? It seems to me it would make sense to have 12, one in the middle of each square.
I'm unsure exactly the locations of your 11, thanks!

For 9' hammock, you would need shorter clews, yes.
The snaps on the castor blanket are meant to offset the seams on the Pollux blanket. You will necessarily end up with extra space in the middle, and that's perfectly okay. It just means you get a bit more fluff down the middle. The snaps on castor are all attached in the middle of the "box" except for the very center snap which goes directly on the seam.
11 snaps on castor connect to 13 on the Pollux blanket. That means you leave the two on the ends free.

Where do you get your 1/16" and 1/32" shock cord? I got some through Amazon, but I am not happy with the supplier!

I got mine from paracord planet via amazon. It's definitely not the highest quality stuff, but it's the only place I could find the smaller sizes. With clews suspension it's not really under a lot of tension anyway so it should be ok. I've been using mine indoors most of the past two months and have zero problems with the 1/32. I also have 16 nettles, which could be a factor.
EDIT > I also didn't appreciate that on one hank, they actually tied two lengths together. Not a big deal in this case as only short sections are needed but sheesh. Unless they state specific cut lengths in their specs up front, if I order 25 or 50ft of something I expect it to be continuous, not tied together.
Just found another outfit that sells paracord planet stuff. I've never dealt with them though.

Thanks sqidmark, your experience parallels mine. BTW the material I got from Amazon was Paracord Planet brand but it was supplied to Amazon by Outdoor Bunker. The first I got I had calculated that I needed 45' of unstretched material for each clew so I purchased 100'. The first clew came out fine though it was very slightly stretched. The second one, rather than having at least 10' extra, was in fact several feet short. I ordered a second 100' since I didn't know where else to look (shame on me), and this one has a knot right in the middle. So no matter what I do I am stuck with a knot in the second clew. Hence my plea for help.
