Loco Libre Ghost Pepper 20 Arrived!

Just got my new Ghost Pepper from Loco Libre. I can post pictures but the camo outer/black inner shell makes it hard to see the detail and craftsmanship George puts into these things. I ordered it during the Not Black Friday sale. I was on the fence about a sewn footbox versus the snap/drawstring footbox but after trying it out last night, I'm glad I went with the versatility of the snaps.

I plan on using this for a 300 mike section hike in April/May on the AT. Last night it got down to 19 degrees and I was comfy all night. I used a KAQ 3 season UQ since my Loco Libre Habanero UQ is only rated to 30 degrees. I put a Thermarest sit pad in the foot area that stuck out past the UQ.

Very happy with the purchase and look forward to a lot of use.

I love my 30* Ghost Pepper. I've pushed it to ~26-7ish and it held up well. Part of me wishes I had gone for the 20, but I only camp out in below 45-50F two or three times a year living in south east Texas.
I did get the UQ at 20F w/ overstuff so I'm never chilled from below.

    George makes some great quilts.
