Here is my initial review of the Underground Quilts Hex Hanger 11 WideBody SilPoly tarp. This is not the membrane, but the slightly heavier 20D SilPoly.

Nice review. Awesome looking tarp! Do you feel the 11' ridgeline is enough or would 12' be a better option?
Good review! Makes me want to go buy another tarp
Your thoughts on the blue color; how much would it stand out in the woods during the summer time? How much sunshine comes through during the height of the day?
My guess is as long as you pitch it with the wind coming into the panel of the tarp and not down the ridgeline, the 11 will be fine. However, the 12 will always give you more coverage. Also it will depend on your fixed ridgeline on your hammock, for my 11' I use about 83% so someone using higher will have less room to play with. And the higher you pitch the tarp, or if you are hanging multiple hammocks under one tarp, you will lose coverage due to the cat cut. Something to think about.
Very nice review, my wife has one of UGQ's Winter Dream tarps in the same moraccan blue but she went with the yellow/gold trim (Michigan colors) and it really looks nice out in the field and in camp, the silpoly is a great fabric and like you said, you can set it and forget it unlike silnylon that seems to need adjusting every so often.
Enjoy your new tarp and thanks again for the video review.!
Excellent review of the UGQ tarp. How long did it take the ride line tape to dry once it was wet?
I left it up overnight and took it down when I came home for lunch the next day. It was bone dry, but it was in the 70s outside too.
Thanks. I've been talking to Paul about a new tarp and I want to do something other than drab. I hike mostly in Eastern Tn so yellow is out of the question. In one picture the blue looks subdued but in your video it looks very bright. I should probably just order swatches from RSBTR.
