    Mamajamba 20D Silpoly

Ok at this point people are going to stop reading my threads because I'm clearly insane. Yes, I bought another tarp!

I love my Mamajamba and it's gotten me thru EVERYTHING over the past 5 years. My foray into poly started off badly, but I'm giving it another shot with the heavier 20D. Having a poly version of my favorite tarp might prove to be just perfect with less sagging when wet. That was never a deal breaker, but would be nice to reduce/eliminate.

And it was shipped 18 hours after ordering! I'll let you know how it goes.

Hope it works out. Which color variant did you end up getting? I've been looking forward to seeing some of their new camo pattern in setups.

Color was another reason I jumped on this - olive brown. Less baby puke green than dark olive, but still earthy and blends in nicely. I know some other vendors could do the same color, but just wanted to stick with WB and the fact it was ready to go made it easy.

I hope this one last longer that your last SilPoly tarp I think you will find this one to be much more durable and still on the light side. Be sure to post back and let us know how you like it.

Yesterday was a holiday. No movement of packages. Don't think they run on sunday, either.

That's why I said "for days".

"Out for delivery" Saturday. Nothing since. Said it would be delivered next business day which is today...nothing.

But FYI they do Deliver on sunday if you paid for it. And they were also out yesterday for the same reasons I assume. Delivered a package to my neighbors on a fed holiday,

Finally showed up. The driver set it aside since my work was closed and didn't bother to try delivering it Tuesday.

Anyway, the olive brown is much browner than my other tarps of the same color. No big deal, but I really liked the greenish tint better. Material feels MUCH better than the lighter .93 membrane stuff I tried, so I feel good about this one.

I'll get it strung up today and see how it goes.

Hope this one works out for you! I think you will be happy since its a tarp you're familiar with but in a new fabric that solves the stretch problems on your old one. I am considering do the same thing you did only with my nylon superfly so this thread is definitely relevant to my interests.

Please post some pics if you get a chance, I would like to see how dark it is.
“The word hammockable (Meaning: two trees that are the perfect distance apart between which a hammock can be hung) is not in the dictionary, but it should be.”

I agree. If I'm 100% sold on this after a good test, I may "upgrade" my superfly as well.

This color will blend into the woods real nice!
