Haha you guys! Yes, I bought the CF...wasn't feeling it so I sold it. Bought the 12' .93 membrane but sold that too after the damage. I didn't like the 12' anyway - that extra length seemed to made the tarp "cave in" on itself. If I need extra coverage, I'll stick with my tarp with doors.

So I'm back to my original kit:
    30D Superfly (2014)
    30D Mamajamba (2012)

And now my 20D poly Mamajamba is arriving today (exchanging the brown for evergreen).

    I'll hold at 3 tarps...that's my limit

Got the Evergreen and I like it! I'm picky and still prefer the old olive brown sil the best, but the Evergreen is close enough. She'll look good in the woods! Actually they all would, I'm just not a fan of brown in general.

Finally got this out for a 3-nighter. And I happened to arrive just as a front was exiting, so I caught a 30-minute shower right after setting up. Everything looks good with less sag compared to my nylon version, as I hoped.

Here it is on the third night. I knew it wasn't going to rain but I set it up high and wide anyway since there was a frost advisory. A little different this time...porch mode on the end instead of side. That was nice to give me a better view of the sunrise.

Looks good, MR6. I love that green color. Almost OD.

so markr6, you've had this awhile, what's the verdict on the 20d silpoly, is it sturdy enough or would you get 30d if you had to do it over?..

Took it out this past Sunday-Wednesday and it did fine. Just some showers on the last morning, so I was hitting it as usual to knock the rain off. I could tell it holds less water than the nylon, or none at all. Just a quick wipe down with a rag before packing, but that's not necessary. I just like to pack it as dry as possible.

I have a hard time telling the difference between this and my 30D nylon in terms of durability. Poly just has less stretch. Also feels slicker...crazy how easy the mesh skins swallow it up. I like to think the 20D packs smaller as well, but I can't confirm that without seeing both in person.

ok, that kinda confirms what I've come to find - I have a 20D Silpoly UGQ Hanger tarp and it's slicker/silkier than my Mamajamba but at first, it seemed the same weight overall. it does pack down about 1/3 smaller too...

Thanks, guys (sarcasm). Now I have to go buy a silpoly Mamajamba to pair with my silnylon Mamajamba.

Haha yeah you do! I didn't sell my nylon version yet just in case. It's been my goto tarp for the past 5 years. Maybe I'll hang on to it regardless just as a spare.

nah, but a poly Edge or Superfly would fit in there pretty well...
