Mamajamba 20D Silpoly

Here it is in the test area. Ready to be sealed!

5 year old "olive brown" 30D silnylon vs. new "olive brown" 20D silpoly. I'm really bummed about that; the greenish color is perfect IMO. I'm just used to that with my MJ and SF tarps. I figured I got the colors mixed up, but checked my old order confirmations and they're all "olive brown". Oh well, everything else about it is great. Seems no different than the old MJ when set up (a good thing), so I can't wait to benefit from less stretch. We'll see!

Thanks for the review. My two yr old silnylon SF is the same color as your new silpoly. Interesting. Not sure I've ever seen the old olive brown (green?) color of your silnylon MJ.

Nice testing area. Wish I had a spot like that indoors!

Wow a basement. I've not seen but one basement (and it had 3" of water in it) since I've moved to Huntsville 25 years ago. Can you tell a big difference in the weights?

I forgot to weigh it, but it feels about the same. There is a decent difference in size; the poly is slightly smaller to start and compresses further. I like it!!

Just saw this pic for this color. I think that's what I meant to get! I just ordered one and think I will return the brown. Before seeing the pic, I figured evergreen was that teal color, which doesn't look very natural. But turns out it looks like my older WB tarps which is perfect.

Wait, I've been out of the loop a little bit. Didn't you get a CF tarp too a little while back? Do you need to go to tarpaholics anonymous?!? Haha! Saw your posts about the .93 fiasco. At first I thought it was the CF. I still love my SF too much to give it up yet.

I'm planning on seam sealing the tarp tonight. I'll try and snap a pic of it for you so you can see the color "in real life".
