FL, March 2017, Hike thru Richloam North Section of FT

Looking for anyone interested in Hiking approximately 16 miles through Central Florida on the Florida Trail, this is a circular route from Richloam Fire Tower north and back around. Let me know dates that work for you. Majority rules on the dates, I will make the arrangements. Need to know dates and how many hikers by Feb 26th. Sorry for the short notice! Hike will start on Friday afternoon about 1 mile, Saturday and Sunday approximately 7-8 miles each day. This is primitive, bring your own food, hiking. Water is usually available for each night, we may need to cache some water if rivers and ponds are low.

I'm in if... Sandra's birthday is the 4th so that weekend is probably out. Our anniversary, 44th, is the 23rd but that is on Thu, could possibly work that weekend in. Best bet for me would be the 17th-19th. The 10th- 12th IIRC MAD will be in TX. Here is some additional info. Per the map the first nights hang is only 1/2 mile from the trailhead.

The best weekend for me would be the 25-26. But I can work around any but the 11-12 weekend.

By the way, don't trust that map too much. It was drawn by a blind man, while being led around the loop by a guide dog.

Looking like 7 so far, but I suspect Grinder will be there sooner or later! Hoping maybe a couple more. Looks like March 25 weekend fits best so far! I will schedule for sure tomorrow Feb. 24 and post again.
