Here we have a Warbonnet RidgeRunner Double-Layer 1.1 Bridge Hammock with net and Line/Strap suspension. Olive Brown. 250# weight limit.
This was bought directly from Warbonnet as a "blem" (i.e., fully functional, but slightly sub-standard item). It is the second type of "saggy saddlebags" blem described here.
I bought this as a new "blem" in September 2013. It has been set up a few times (less than ten, I'm pretty sure). In "new-ish" condition.
The suspension is "Line/Strap". It was intended to be used as follows: Tie the line to a ring at the end of the strap using a Slipped Buntline Hitch. HOWEVER, I've upgraded it to have two Aluminum SMC Descender Rings, which cost me about $5 each, I believe. The descender rings allow you to use the Sliding Ring Suspension approach (i.e., you use a toggle & marlinspike on the straps, and use the ring to easily adjust the line -- sort of like whoopie slings). Anyway, it is all set up to use this if you want to do it that way.
New Price was:
- Double Layer 1.1 RidgeRunner w Net & Line/Strap: $195
- Minus $20 for blem: -$20
- Shipping: $10
- Two SMC Descender Rings: $10
Total Price New (incl discount for blem): $175
I'm offering it for 25% off that discounted new price: $131.25 Shipped to CONUS.
Who wants a great deal on a fantastic hammock?
