Newbie here looking to make an UQ

I'd like to make an UQ but I don't know the first thing about it. Right now I have a HH Explorer Asym and Just ordered an Asym DH Thunderbird. Do you have to make them special for Asym hammocks?

Also, who has the best how-to videos on the topic?

I don't know about videos, but Dutch has an excellent kit along with very good written instructions. I made two and turned out pretty good.

I saw his materials, but I couldn't find an actual kit, could you post a link to one for me?

I don't really see the advantage of a kit unless you really need the instructions. A few hours of research and you should be able to make one.

I am just about finished up with my 2 down underquilts and I have never sewn before. Just measure twice cut one.

Look up "Jellyfish Report" on YouTube. She has a great tutorial as mentioned earlier for a synthetic underquilt. I am making one now using her tips. My second UQ of the boxed corner type. She uses a new Clew suspension style that you might or might not want to use. It is like the suspension for a rope hammock you might have in the back yard. I went with the more traditional grosgrain ribbon channel style.
