I've got another 100 yards coming. It will ship tomorrow and I should have it Wed.

    Same price, $2.50/yd.

There is a slight chance this roll will be calendared, that would be great! I'll let you know when it arrives.

First 70 yards was claimed in under 15 min.

Dang! I gotta quit going to lunch.

I am very interested in getting my hands on some uncalendared nylon. I've had an idea floating around in my head for a while now, but unable to chase down a source. If the next roll is not calendared or coated, I would certainly be down for a few yards. Gotta figure out exactly how much I'll need, but at least 8 yards.
    Trust nobody!

I'd be interested in well, calendared or not, prolly for 10yds.
Still gotta make a sock and would prefer not to use my 1.9.

Doesn't calendaring also make the nylon more downproof or is this a mistaken assumption I've picked up in browsing the rockywoods and other sites?

Does calendaring make the nylon any more moisture resisent?

Yes, calendaring makes the fabric more downproof. It will also shed water better, but not enough to make it what I would call moisture resistant.

PM me your zip code and I'll get you a total quote with shipping on 10yds (also confirm if you want me to hold 10yds for you).

56 yards left on this next roll.

    Re: Calendaring

Some of this source material is calendared, some is not. I won't know what's on the roll until it arrives. I did ask them to send a calendared roll if they are able this time.

Availability: If everyone I've had a PM from who's ordering a bunch follows through, there are about 6 yards left.

I will order more if interest warrants it.

I originally ordered it as material for a possible summer project. I take the boys in my Church youth group out on a rugged camping trip each summer and we always do a gear project. We've made survival kits, alcohol stoves, entire ultralight camp kitchen's, etc. I'm thinking this year is hammocks. The price is right on the material and it's really wide (68"), so a comfortable hammock it would make. It'll be a while before that kicks into gear and I thought, maybe some of the folks here on HF would like it too.

    Turns out you do.

PM or post here if you want a chunk and I'll tack on more as it's called for.

This is on the verge of needing to be a group buy thread. We'll see.

    Enjoy,
    Scott

...only you haven't time for that, because you have to make my Winter Dream in Treebark Brown and get it to me in time for Mt. Rogers on Jan 31!

No kidding... time is not something I have since starting Backwoods Daydreamer.

I am going to have to take a vacation soon!!!

I'm working my tail off trying to get tarps out in decent order.

To get a Treebark Brown tarp out by the Rogers hang... I think I'll have to order the material pre-made into Winter Dreams! I'll do my best Mac!
