Protip: A friend of mine's daughter recently got a part time job at REI, and employees get 80% off. Yes, EIGHTY!!!!!! Friends and family get like 20%. Man, I wish I had an REI near me, because I would be all over that.
Wow, nice! I figured they got 40%, but the 80 makes sense because they want their employees to actually USE their gear so they can better explain it to their customers. From what I hear, they treat their employees very well, which is one reason why I shop there over other places.

Is that 80% on REI brand stuff or everything in store?

Pretty sure it is just REI brand stuff for the 80%, there is no way they couldn't afford covering that cost on Arc and Patty gear.

My dividend is also minuscule as I shop sales too mostly. What are people looking to spend their 20% off coupons on (should be out soon as well). I already have an Ursack
The want of wandering, and a welcomed whimsy.

Only $28.10, I usually only buy clearance stuff. Ended up buying a few Capilene Ts, a short sleeve T and a mid weight long sleeve, that were on clearance and only spent $20.

I'm so impressed with my Patagonia micro puff pull over hoody I might by one for everyday wear as well. Very light and impressively warm.

This year is a new low for my dividend: $2.42. Too bad we don't get a dividend from our cottage vendors because I bought 95% of my new gear from a number of them this year. My daughter should make out pretty well because she opened up her own REI membership to start outfitting herself for her Camino trip in May. Jealous Dad here.

Good ?, I've used a bear vault on some of my trips so 13 oz is a big savings for me compared to the vault. I figured the critter proof was a little more versatile if you're in mouse country but that is a pretty steep price.

Most of my dividends are actually from using the REI card at non-REI stores.
