I hit the " Mark Forums Read " by mistake ,and have spent the last 2 hrs trying to undo this ,with no luck ,i even did a system restore on my comp, with no luck ,i am on a home p.c windows 7 if that helps . I have read through the help on this subject ,but so far cant find a solution ,my question is ,is there a solution ,I can go to the odds and ends and click the todays post ,but if I read a new post and leave that post ,but maybe want to read it again and finish it latter, it is gone ,I don't really want to have too subscribed to all the post , is there a solution for this

To be clear, if you use the "new posts" button, as you read them they will be removed from the listing (if you click new posts again) until there is a new post in that thread.

I suppose you could try deleting your browsers cookies relating to hammockforums.net and www.hammockforums.net. You might lose any custom settings you've made though. Then empty your browsers cache (Ctrl+Shift+Del, usually a list of items to check) and refresh the HF page you're on (Ctrl+R, or F5).

Alternatively, you could just wait a while and as people post to threads they'll once again be marked as unread for you.

If you go to the individual subforums, all posts appear, read or not.

My best suggestion is go under quick links and click on today's posts. Everything from 3/16 will come up for you.
