Why do I urinate at least 2 times during the night in a Hammock

Love hammocks, but for some unknown reason to me I wake up at least 2 times a night and have to urinate like a racehorse. Never happens at home in the bed. I rarely if ever wake up at night to pee. And yes I do urinate before crawling into my JRB HRTQ Thoughts? It's cold I don't wanna get out of the warmth. Haha thankee!

Lol! I'm the same way. I wonder if the cool air- along with having my feet slightly raised has something to do with it.

Haha glad to know I'm not alone. I thought maybe the sides of the gathered-in hammock put pressure on your kidneys somehow...? I don't know , just thought I'd ask the experts here at hf....

Exact same thing happens to me! I've always thought I just tend to drink more because I'm sitting around a campfire.

Just your subconscious telling you that there is all kinds of mysteries to be pondered while standing in the dark staring up into the universe. Now that is just an old man's excuse. But I did learn one thing a long time ago. Which is. When your bladder tells you it's time to get up, do it, it will not go away and only keeps you from getting back into a deep sleep in that warm toasty hammock.

Are you warm enough? Anti-diuretic hormone is produced when your body is warm. Perhaps you need a more robust underquilt.

I'm usually quite warm have had some drafts/cool butt a few times by just needed to fiddle with my underquilt. But as a general rule yea toasty warm. That's interesting though hadn't heard that before.

Only twice in one night! Sounds like heaven to me! Just wait till old age kicks in.

I figured (as a new hanger) that it was because in a hammock I sleep in a different position than I do in a bed, so my bladder was not accustomed to feeling full in that position... so I wake up. Whereas I've slept for decades in a bed and become accustomed to the feeling.

But if some of you are full time hangers, I don't know how to explain it!
