REI-outlet has got there Womens Sub Kilo + 15 degree bags on Sale!! This is a super nice down bag and makes a Great Top Quilt and its light. The long weighs around 2 lbs and the reg. is even less. The reg. is $139 & the Long is $149 If you need a Top Quilt this is the way to go! Just saying who cares if it a womens bag !! My wife has got one and this bag is thick! Lots of down! I just notice they got mens on sale too! 20 degree same price!

What are your thoughts on the temp ratings? Everything I have read about them says that they are really only good to 30 or so, which is why I have held off on one.
I would agree that they're rated warmer then they should be, but I'd say the difference is ~5-10 off, not 15. I bought both of mine at REI garage sales with blown out seems that could have caused the difference in how mine function.
I just picked up my SUB KILO 20* 2 weeks ago from a scratch and dent for 35 bucks, and just and fyi i woke up HOT in Below 30*.
Another cheap top quilt, I found the rectangular Kelty Galactic +35 down bag on sale at Sunny Sports for $55 shipped.
