    Raven Owners

I am considering pulling the trigger on a new Raven and just wanted to hear what current users think about their Raven and how they like this unique design.

Thanks in advance for your response.

I received my Raven a few weeks ago, and so far I love it! It is very comfortable, and the construction quality is top notch in every regard. I was a little concerned with the design of the bugnet at first- not fully convinced it would provide complete enclosure. However, after doing my research, and figuring that the Smurfs wouldn't release some half-cocked design, I decided to pull the trigger. My fears have been quelled, and everything about the bugnet design seems to operate as advertised. I especially like how easy it is to unzip the entire thing, and stow it above the ridgeline. Also, the center-meeting zippers on both sides makes it easy to make any UQ adjustments.

IMO, you'd be hard-pressed to find another hammock that provides the level of quality, modularity, and performance at the price point of the Raven. Of course, adding more options will increase the price. I'm kind of a minimalist; so I chose not add all the options. Mine stayed at the $115 price point. I would highly recommend it if you're looking around.

good to know. After messing around with "lay head right, feet left" options (since Thanksgiving), I pulled the trigger on Monday. Now....being patient (not!).....

In my opinion it's a no brainer, simply put - you just can't go wrong with a Dream Hammock!
The Smurfs are far ahead of everyone else when it comes to innovative designs as well as thier attention to detail and top notch craftmanship!
not to mention the level of customer service.
You will love your new Raven

After testing the Dream Hammocks at the Florida Hangcon, I fell in love with the Raven hammock. It's the best of both worlds head left or head right you can do both. I was concerned about the bug net also, after laying in the hammock all worries went away.

Just ordered mine today and it's good to hear the netting will hold up to Florida mosquitos...

I have #2 so I do not have the latest mods that Randy has added but I love it. I like the fact I can lay either left or right, the half zips work great and the quality if nothing but top notch... The color here is Tawny Olive which is a great color, not to bright but just enough color in it. In the woods it really blends in from a distance for 25 yds...
