Phoenix Econ quilts are now up on the website! I changed around the website layout a little bit to differentiate between the two versions, so there would be less confusion and clutter. The new link for the Econ line of quilts is: http://www.hammockgear.com/econ-quilts/

I cannot wait till I'm able to pick one of these up! I have a couple questions though:

1) If I called to place an order, could I request a different inner layer color- as long as it's offered in the Ion fabric?
2) Does the Phoenix have draft collars like the Incubator?

I would not wait too long. It seems like this new Econ series is becoming popular. Orders are quickly stacking up. That said, here are the answers to your questions:

We can probably be persuaded to make yours with a different shell color... You can call or send us an email. Email usually works best.

2) Does the Phoenix have draft collars like the Incubator?

Yep, the Phoenix comes standard with draft collars like its big brother, the Incubator.

We are really trying to limit custom work on the Econ series, because it usually means more labor is involved. We are trying to keep those costs down by simplifying some of the options. The limited availability of colors is what's driving the black-only option of the inner shell.

That makes perfect sense. Thanks for clarifying. The color thing isn't that big of a deal, and I wouldn't want to put you guys in a bind by making it difficult to keep adequate stock. But I figured it was worth asking Also, good to know about the draft collars. That is definitely important to me!

Ordered me one of these. 30*, burnt orange exterior, black interior. Going to use it on my new Chameleon.

You sure you're not losing money on these? $100 for this! Wow! Thanks for a great product at an incredible price!!! My other Hammock Gear stuff has been top notch! I'm sure this will be too.
