I got some as well-thought the seller said they worked with Dutch cinch bugs. I'd be using Warbonnet's or the titanium cinch buckles.

Cool, I'll have to try my spiders and bugs soon.
A nice man in China sent me some samples,
Two types for testing, heavier one is plain weave, lighter is twill.
... exciting times!
Vendor is Dongguan Sovetl Special Rope & Webbing Co., Ltd. (on Alibaba.com)
https://sovetl.en.alibaba.com/
says they are both over 600kg break strength.

Got mine yesterday, haven't had a chance to do anything with it yet.
From the photo, it looks like Myers Tech is selling the twill type. More fire truck testing?
Oh yes! Cut some test pieces already. Back at work on Saturday, so will try and set something up when we have a quiet time.
Hoping for a night out too, before then. Will take it out to test.
I'm feeling a little more drawn to the plain weave, it has a bit stiffer, tighter weave. The twill one feels floppy and more likely to snag.

Looking foward to your tests!
Assuming that what I have is the twill, it seems to tie pretty well into a becket hitch and jbend (msh). If the plain weave is stiffer, will it tie well? Maybe it's better suited for buckle use? We shall see.
2 x 14' treestraps in the 2.05g/ft twill weave, 59.9g,
1 x 6' treestrap in the 2.05g/ft twill weave, 14.3g
2 x 13.5' treestraps in the 2.45g/ft plain weave, 68.1g
You can tell twill, the weave shows up as diagonal. The plain weave is at 90 degrees. See the pictures above, it's pretty clear which is which.
It's stiffer relative to the twill weave, but it's not as stiff as my 1" polyester straps. I think the twill weave would be rubbish for buckles. If the plain weave is stiffer, will it tie well? Maybe it's better suited for buckle use? We shall see.
Nice testing.
Ok, now I can see it very clearly. The rest of us have the plain weave. This stuff is very similar in feel and tie-ability to kevlar 2.2, but I think more distortion resistant, if that makes sense. Thanks!
