Single layer full length costco uq

I'm hiking the James River wilderness At hike at the end of July. Do you guys think that will keep me warm enough or should I be looking at additional options? I have a top quilt, I'm just wondering ab button protection.

I would not use a single layer past 50, and even then with my jacket stuffed in between.

OK. The Avg temp in July in that area is mid 60's so if that holds true, I should be fine.

At mid 60's I think you would be fine. I have used mine ( condensed down to a 60" long 45" wide section) down to upper 40s and been comfortable.

Not a bad idea to have a small piece of CCF that you can tuck under your tush if you start feeling chilly though.

I always have one around anyways.

I was thinking of doing the same. Getting down to that size.

You don't say if you have ripped any seams, added any down, re-sized it, have an UQ protector.
