Hey Folks - I've got Gator Hole campsite reserved for this coming weekend (April 7th - April 9th) I'll be heading there mid-afternoon on Friday and anticipate leaving around lunchtime on Sunday. Come on out and enjoy some time in the woods!

I was hoping to get back in the woods again before the heat gets serious, feel like I got short changed on the last hike, but... already planned on spending that weekend with my mother. Might have to see what I can do about coming out later on Saturday.
Most of us end up poorer here but richer for being here. Olddog, Fulltime hammocker, 365 nights a year.
Camping with the scouts this weekend. We are tying the Palm crosses for Palm Sunday for our church. Should be fun. If that was not going on, we would have definitely made it out to green swamp. I did get my hammock fixed. So, will I hit the ground with the scouts or just you guys? Time will tell.

Raining in ocala today. That should help the water/fire situation.
On your way in to gator hole remember right before you get to camp turn right at the dirt road. Not at the jeep trail but at a real dirt road. It's just after a small pond on your right. You will see the orange blazes to your right.

I too wish I could make this but alas I have a busy weekend set up around here. Y'all have fun. Hopefully cool weather comes in. I like this campsite. Got a good canopy (hammock) for some shade against direct sunlight. Son's birthday this weekend.
I would like to bumble along if that's ok ? Where would you guys be parking ? Is there an address like there was for richloam ?
