Just ordered my first bit of Dutch bling!

So, I finally bit the bullet and ordered a pair of Flyz for my new tarp. I purchased some Zing-it, but found that it wasn't taking too well to my tensioning knot (taut line hitch). Rather than fussing with the Zing-it, I caved in to the inevitable, and alas, I'm finally part of the "in" crowd.

The only downside is that I couldn't order them directly from Dutch- due to the website having issues. So I got them from Hammock Gear- which really isn't a downside at all, I guess. Anyway, I'm looking forward to getting these in the mail, and rigging up the Beast!

I'm sure in a couple months I will be on my way toward a serious "problem." I'm already eyeing the tarp hooks next!

It is truly an addiction... we all ought to be wearing the bling at this point. Or have tattoos...

The Flyz are so worth it for ease of tarp setup - exactly the same way I got "hooked."
The want of wandering, and a welcomed whimsy.

I have a friend who keeps asking me how he can tension his tarp, but won't order the flyz. Glad you've seen the light! They're too quick, easy and light for me to go without now.

Would you say Flyz are the "gateway bling?" Lol

In all honesty, when I was using 550 paracord, the taut line hitch on both ends worked well for me. It held just fine, and provided great adjustability. I just wanted to switch to Zing-it for it's slickness around trees and lightweight properties. I think I'm really gonna dig the Flyz.
