The Sam's Bauer quilt is duller and smaller and flatter, pics of both sides as draped over a hammock stand.

I apologize for the sideways pics. I've tried uploading different ways and get the same result. I'll dive into learning about that today!

Haha, yeah. As it is, I can't keep mine on my body while using it as a blanket, it slides to the (dirty) floor over and over.

That's pretty cool, I mean warm, I mean...
    You know what I mean.

I've compared the warmth with my 6oz climashield quilt and the down throws seem to warm up faster. I would rate this quilt to the 30*-40*F.

My Sam's club has them marked down to less that $10. Worth experimenting for that price.

I haven't looked at my gear setup all summer.
I finally got the chance to go out with my son's Boy Scout troop a few weeks ago.
I used a 40° UG and put one of these throws between the UQ and the hammock.
No clue if it added any warmth but I don't think it hurt.
    Ideas?

I made a 50* UQ from one of these Eddie Bauer throws (overstuffed with excess down from a partial Costco throw I had lying around). I’ve stacked that with a 20* HG Incubator to good effect.

First step is ripping out half of your seams, to free any down trapped under the threads and give it room to loft.
