    Ooh,ooh,ooh,ooh!

[and I hate Monday mornings down in my post office... It's really small, but the ladies are all really old, heavily medicated, technologically handicapped, set in their ways and really, really sloooooowww. It's going to be a long morning while my package sits right there on the floor in full view.... but electronically unavailable]

My Ghost Pepper arrived today and is a thing of puffy, golden, chevroned awesomeness!
Comes in with the overstuff at 19.5 oz. That's pretty tote-able.
No photo can possibly do justice to this fabric. HK2001 managed to achieve a pallet of goldens through browns to coppers that comes across as almost metallic in the sunlight. It really does glow.

Loco Libre's workmanship is impeccable. The chevron baffling they use does exactly what it's described to do in terms of limiting the down's movement, and looks great, too. The lofting is really impressive.

Of course the small gods of hammocking have a delightful sense of humor and it arrived today to very un-30° TQ weather here in the Northwoods hood.

That's terrible, sounds like Texas weather. That quilt looks amazing.

It's going to be so warm tonight my daughter begged me to help her set up her hammock for the first time after school for her first overnight! I think I might need to buy a good down TQ before next winter. My wife's 0° sleeping bag works fine, but I really want my own TQ that will bring me down to Maine winter cold.

What a beautiful TQ!! Can't wait to see it!!
